Dror Kidron is an 8th generation Jerusalemite from the famous Sherizli family who immigrated to Jerusalem in 1807 from Thessaloniki ,Greece .

He has a B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a M.A. in Israel Studies from the Schechter Institute in Jerusalem .


Dror served in Special Forces IDF unit . His last position is a rescue force commander and medical care team leader.


For many years Dror was responsible for designing and managing Outdoor Programs and Israel studies programs. In this field he was a Principal of Centeral Jerusalem Young Leadership Program, trained new guides throught the youth department ot the Ministry of Education, worked with the Leadership Development Department of the Jewish Agency, helped the Birthright system create a program for Asperger Syndrome groups, guided American youth programs in Europe, and more .Dror is still responsible today for several outdoor programs he created for the Art High school of Jerusalem, which two of his c​hildren  attend.
